Chiefs‘ TE Travis Kelce’s ex was indeed ecstatic over the Eagles‘ Super Bowl triumph! But it was not out of spite. Kayla Nicole had joined the Eagles fans in green attire as she enthusiastically sang “Fly, Eagles, Fly.” Not only this, she made her way onto the field post-game, posing with multiple well-known personalities. But, amidst this, she had a message to share which she evocatively penned in her recent Instagram post.
Taking to her IG handle, she wrote a heartfelt message @iamkaylanicole which has 837k followers. The opening statement of her caption states a clear purpose, to deliberate on “What makes the Super Bowl so special?” According to Nicole, it is not just a peak of professional football, as “the two most elite and talented teams” compete. With palpable energy, the vibrancy of the “collective excitement of fans and the high stakes of the match-up,” makes one “feel the pulse of the game.”
Nicole articulates what the collective atmosphere offers the fans. She makes a clear statement. “There’s no bad seat in the house.” Encapsulating the majestic synergy in her caption, her message finds a deep resonance with our own feelings. Very cathartic! And, the way it binds all of us together makes it “one of the biggest stages in sports, especially when the clock strikes half-time.”
The key objective of her caption is clear. It is to focus on the humanity aspect of the game. And this is what entices Travis Kelce’s ex-gf Kayla Nicole. She wrote further, “We often minimize the humanity of the game by focusing on teams/titles/wins/losses. Obviously football is a team sport where winning is always the goal, but I’ve always been more enthralled by the individual storylines.” Knowing the struggle story of the players and joining in their moments of pride, is what Nicole thinks “it’s pretty freaking dope we get to witness.”
Ending the message, she has one wish: to continue attending the Super Bowl festivities. She writes, “Simply put, as a fan of the game, with a soft spot for a cold beer and a clear view of the red zone – I can only hope my career allows me to continue to partake in sports history for many more bowls to come.”
She posed with many artists in the series of photos from Dess Dior to rapper Glo, Teaira Walker, Chrysty Gaither, and others. The series of photos concluded with her post that she made on 26th Jan, as she wrote, “It will be a storybook ending either way on Feb 9th. And as a fan of the game, that’s really all you can ask for.” She shared the post originally while supporting the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs on January 26, 2025.
With Bills out of the equation, Nicole had sided with the Eagles as the team claimed a dominant 40-22 victory. And she enthusiastically celebrated the Eagles’ victory. Later, she took to the fields as Nicole tossed the confetti and posed with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. She also made an Instagram post, writing, “Where’s the bandwagon emoji?” further mentioning, “There’s room on the wagon y’all.”

While some fans criticized her for the bandwagon remark, others supported her, saying she was a journalist and had the right to be on the field. She was covering the game for I Am Athlete, a sports media brand, which justifies that her presence was not merely personal but professional.
And equating her celebrations in a response to her history with her Kelce was not justified. Nicole was in a relationship with Kelce for five years until their final fallout in 2022. Despite her rocky relationship, things have moved forward. Indeed, she is living her best life currently, focusing on her physical and mental health.
